Following AC Milan’s surrender at Udine, Internazionale di Milano were crowned champions of Italy without kicking a ball. Not that they are not used to it. With this Scudetto Inter are now at minus ten scudetti from record holder Juventus – on paper. On the pitch, Juventus would be at quota 29 and Inter would have just won their 16th Scudetto. That would mean a real score of meno tredici.

Elsewhere Barcelona and Manchester United, the two finalists of this years Champions’ League won their respective League titles. This means that an extra place for automatic qualification into the group round has been freed for Belgium since either one of Barca or Manchester would qualify automatically once they win and an extra place has been freed from the English or Spanish quota. J’accuse is backing Liege for a place in the group stage and hopefully for a draw with Juve in order to be able to drive comfortable to a Juve Champions’ league match!
